Position Overview:
As a trainee within our esteemed team, you will acquire essential skills across various key functions of our department. Your responsibilities will encompass daily financial oversight, management of financing operations, and guarantees handled by the Financial Management Department of Competitions.
Your contributions will be vital in the preparation of financial and regulatory reports, along with the centralization of risk declarations to the Bank of France and relevant institutions.
Moreover, you will engage in the development and refinement of the accounting control framework, providing crucial support to the department's cross-functional initiatives, topics, and projects concerning accounting matters.
Additionally, you will assist in drafting and revising procedures and facilitating training sessions for agency accountants.This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to grasp the fundamentals of a financial controller position within our team and play a part in our ongoing achievements.
Candidate Profile:
We are in search of students enrolled in a French university or institution who are available for an apprenticeship contract.
Compensation for interns at AFD is determined as a percentage of the Minimum Collective Wage, influenced by age and educational level.
Desired Qualifications:
We welcome candidates with a background in finance or accounting at the Bachelor's level who are committed to undertaking a 2-year apprenticeship.

Technical Competencies:
- Data Centralization and Integrity: Tasked with consolidating and ensuring the accuracy of diverse data, including accounting, social, and financial information. It is critical to maintain data coherence and reliability, providing essential tools for decision-making.
- Accounting and Oversight: Record financial transactions, execute primary level controls to guarantee data coherence and reliability, and formalize accounting documentation. Assist central accounting with regulatory reporting and tax submissions.
- Procedure Documentation: Aid in formalizing operational methods and procedures to ensure an efficient and well-organized structure.
