The Infrastructure Analyst will assist the European Infrastructure Team in achieving its business goals by engaging in transaction execution aligned with the necessary risk and return parameters, as well as supporting the post-investment management of CDPQ's assets across Europe. The Analyst will also aid the Directors in various research and strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities- Actively participate in the evaluation of investment proposals.
- Develop and assess comprehensive financial models, emphasizing critical aspects of the investment thesis, including conducting sensitivity analyses, reviewing financial forecasts, and assessing valuation assumptions.
- Provide insights on assessing potential investments utilizing suitable methodologies (discounted cash flow, multiples, etc.).
- Conduct thorough preliminary evaluations of investment opportunities.
- Lead the preparation of authorization documents for new investment opportunities.
- Support primary collaborators in negotiating trade agreements and ownership structures.
- Compile internal and external reports on portfolio companies.
- Produce sector analyses on potential target markets for development.

- One to two years of experience in investment, corporate finance, or investment banking; candidates with up to three years of experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong background in financial analysis and modeling.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
