We are seeking a Cardiologist (F/H) to join a healthcare center that is part of the GHT de Bretagne Occidentale, which has 918 beds and 240 places. This center is expanding its cardiology department and is located in a coastal area known for its exceptional living conditions. The cardiology service has strong ties with a reference university hospital, ensuring a well-structured and calibrated cardiology pathway.

The facility currently has 4 inpatient beds, with plans to increase to 12 beds as the medical staff expands. Additionally, there are 4 beds in the USC, with intentions to grow this number as well. The service aims to open an intensive care unit as soon as the medical team is fully staffed.

Position Overview

Reporting to the head of the department and collaborating with fellow practitioners, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing optimal care for patients in both inpatient and USC settings.
- Conducting non-invasive evaluations and explorations, adjusting therapies, and managing post-operative care for recent cardiac surgeries, chronic heart failure, and therapeutic education.
- Participating in clinical research protocols in collaboration with the reference university hospital.
- Ensuring continuity of care by participating in on-call duties (compensated) and contributing to the development of the medical project.
- Engaging in the development of upstream and downstream networks.
- Attending institutional meetings (including the Medical Commission) and preparing for upcoming certifications.
- Supervising interns, junior doctors, or associate physicians.
- Conducting external cardiology consultations.

This position is preferably full-time, but part-time arrangements may be considered. The role can be offered under a public hospital status or as a contractual position.
