Job Title: Head of Financial Planning

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a crucial role in driving the financial well-being of Asendia. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing and directing the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the annual budget, long-term financial plans, and periodic forecasts.
  • Provide strategic analysis and financial modeling to support business initiatives.
  • Present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced financial tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation rules, with a strong IT affinity for SAP BFC.
  • Motivated, with high analytical and conceptual skills, and a strong desire to understand business processes and financial circumstances.
  • Persistence, tenacity, a structured & result-oriented working style, and a high level of personal responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of various nationalities and across different levels of hierarchy.
  • Fluent in English and French. Any other language is an asset.
  • Prepared to travel.
