The Opportunity
We're seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Symphony Federation solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll design, implement, and deploy highly-scalable server-side Java-based microservices and their interaction with our ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement server-side Java-based microservices for our Symphony Federation solutions.
- Build and support automation and tooling required to build, deploy, and operate our deliverables and containerized microservices in a public cloud environment.
- Participate in backend design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science and 5+ years' experience in software development, including proven experience in Java server-side development.
- Proven experience leading and acting as a point of reference for a technical team.
- Experience designing and building solutions from scratch that improved release processes, developer productivity, or operational excellence.
- Experience with automation frameworks in a multi-cloud, multi-region environment, using tools like Jenkins, Docker, or a GitOps approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good understanding of best practices for building, testing, deploying, and monitoring software.
