To enhance our Finance transformation and systems, Airbus Helicopters is seeking a
Senior SAP Specialist in Accounting, Cost Accounting & Controlling (d/f/m)
The new ERP initiative represents more than just an upgrade to our existing SAP solution; it is a comprehensive transformation program designed to re-evaluate our processes, methodologies, and tools to collaboratively establish a sustainable framework that enables more efficient operations for our personnel, clients, suppliers, and business units.
Location:
At our facility in Donauwörth, situated along the scenic Danube River, we are engaged in the development of helicopters from concept to operational product, with the opportunity to observe them during test flights at our on-site airfield.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Finance department, contributing to the evolution and digital transformation of financial operations
- Oversee Finance Systems, specifically focusing on the design and maintenance of our SAP processes within the new S/4 HANA framework at a leading-edge level
- Support the business in transforming operational practices by leveraging SAP S/4 FI/CO solutions, ensuring alignment with the Airbus Group Finance Strategy
- Engage in full project life cycle activities in finance, from initial concept to implementation
- Facilitate and/or lead cross-functional project teams across Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Information Management, ensuring governance and compliance
- Ensure the ongoing stability, reliability, quality, and performance of Airbus Finance Systems
- Anticipate system developments and recommend enhancements
Qualifications:
- Strong finance and technical background, with experience in project management and a keen interest in systems and new technologies
- Proficient in English, with good command of German
- In-depth understanding of financial business processes, particularly in Cost Accounting and Controlling, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing, and Logistics, along with their integration impacts in a cohesive system
- Experience in full-cycle SAP FI-CO / PS implementation projects, with a curiosity to foster innovative ideas
- Additional knowledge in Logistics and Manufacturing SAP modules (MM-IV, PP, and SD)
This role may require a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
