We are a dynamic company founded in 1995, specializing in stable isotopes and consumables for various technologies, including NMR, PET, MRI, and MS. Our innovative approach and R&D investments have enabled us to manufacture a wide range of chemical grade labeled compounds with stable isotopes.

Our Team

We have a team of about 20 employees at our site in Les Ulis, France, with half of them holding a PhD. We are expanding our team and looking for a Chemical Engineer Scientist to join our Production and Process Development team.

Your Role

As a Chemical Engineer Scientist, you will lead the development of synthetic processes for organic molecules at the laboratory scale, prior to their transfer to production. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing processes with a focus on scale-up, optimizing liquid or gas phase synthetic routes for molecules containing stable isotopes.
  • Internally developing innovative manufacturing processes in batch, fed-batch, or continuous flow.
  • Utilizing and improving various reactors developed within the company, including automation and technical criteria.
  • Monitoring scale-up in the kilolab.
  • Providing support to production during the process validation phase.
  • Developing new analytical and chemical tools, offering technical assistance.
  • Integrating into a project team and regularly reporting on the progress of work.
  • Eventually managing 1 to 2 technicians.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and GLP.
Requirements

We are looking for a chemist with at least an engineering degree in chemistry, ideally with a strong background in chemical engineering. A first experience in research and development in the industry is expected. You should be results-oriented, have a strong interest in early-stage technological developments, and be organized and communicative. Fluency in English is required, and an interest in programming and prototyping is a plus.
