Grünenthal GmbH's Corporate Functions teams are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company by bringing together a diverse range of skills.
This role requires a strong collaborator and effective communicator who can:
- Implement the Compliance and Responsibility Program for Gallia (France, Netherlands, Benelux) in line with the global program.
- Represent Legal and Compliance in the Cluster Leadership Team Gallia, local boards, and cross-functional teams, providing strategic input.
- Establish processes to monitor Grünenthal's activities against regulations and pharmaceutical codes, including internal controls for identified risks.
- Plan and supervise local trainings for Legal and Compliance.
- Manage processes for regular updates on non-financial metrics to Global Responsibility.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
- Manage court actions and engage external lawyers as needed.
- Oversee the digitalization of contracts and their distribution within Grünenthal.
- Manage potential non-compliance incidents, including internal investigations.
- Act as Data Privacy Officer for France and implement the local Data Privacy Program for Gallia, providing solution-oriented legal advice on data privacy topics.
- Coordinate local initiatives and efforts in Digital Ethics.
- Act as line manager to the local Compliance Liaison.
Key requirements include:
- Degree in Law.
- At least five years of experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel, preferably in the life science industry.
- At least two years of experience as a compliance professional in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical devices law, unfair competition, IP, and corporate law.
- Knowledge of the relevant pharmaceutical market in France.
- Fluency in French and English.
- High level of organizational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
