SAP Purchasing Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Purchasing Product Owner to join our team at Eramet, a leading mining group. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of our procurement and inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis: Collaborate with management and users to understand business needs and strategic directions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Technical Expertise: Monitor technological advancements and identify new opportunities for technical and functional market growth.
- Requirements Definition: Participate in defining functional requirements and drafting specifications for procurement and inventory management projects.
- Project Management: Prioritize requests, oversee project timelines, and allocate resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Contract Management: Select and manage contractual relationships with service providers to support procurement and inventory management initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead internal and/or external IT teams on procurement and inventory management projects.
- Application Management: Manage the daily operation of applications in the procurement and inventory management domain, including SAP, SRM Axiscope, Neptune, and PowerBI.
- Support and Training: Define support and training resources for the implementation of new solutions and ensure domain consistency with the overall IT strategy.
- Education: At least 5 years' higher education (engineering school or university), with at least 8 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience: Previous experience in the industrial sector is preferred.
- Key Competencies: Expertise in SAP Purchasing modules, knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (such as PowerBI), and IT project management processes.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to manage various stakeholders at all levels.
