Filtration and Life Sciences Technology Director

Imerys is seeking a seasoned Science and Technology (R&D) professional to lead the development of innovative technologies and laboratory capabilities to support the company's Filtration and Life Sciences markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of new products, applications, and services, as well as nurturing relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the overall S&T plan for the Filtration and Life Sciences markets, in alignment with the company's strategy and roadmaps.
- Manage a team of scientists and technical experts to deliver NPD projects and ensure tight coordination with Operations and Commercial teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth in the Filtration and Life Sciences markets.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources and delivery of timely technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain a strong IP portfolio for the Filtration and Life Sciences markets.
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in R&D leadership roles in industry-related to filtration or life sciences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing scientists and technical teams.
- Business acumen and ability to deliver results in a challenging environment.
- Extensive internal and external technical networks in polymer and rubber industries.
