This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced commercial / contracts lawyer to join a successful and growing renewable energy business, supporting our green energy international vision and mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation of national and international contracts for the construction and operation of renewable power plants (EPC, O&M).
- Acting on behalf of the company to analyse and mitigate risk, to draft and negotiate contracts related to distribution activities such as agency, distribution, partnership agreements, etc.
- Providing generalist support for the company's legal requirements; drafting letters, policies, contract templates, and legal documents; ensuring accurate legal advice is given and that procedures are followed as per current local legislative and statutory compliance.
Requirements:
- 5 years of proven experience minimum.
- Experience in Projects (Construction & Maintenance).
- Strong knowledge of contract law and construction law.
- Good knowledge and experience of common law.
- Proficiency in English.
Key Skills:
- Ability to identify and analyse main issues, to see the big picture.
- Business partner and team player.
- Proven negotiations skills.
- Able to work in autonomy while under the management of the legal manager.
