Arboretum Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arboretum Technician (H/F) to join our team at JOB23. As a key member of our forestry team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to tree care and maintenance, including pruning, cutting, and removing branches, as well as operating specialized equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning and cutting operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Operate specialized equipment, such as chainsaws and aerial lifts, to access and maintain trees.
• Conduct regular inspections of trees to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Hold a certificate of specialization in forestry or a related field.
• Have a strong understanding of tree biology and ecology.
• Be physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
