Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including floors, walls, furniture, and fixtures
- Clean and maintain public areas, including patios and furniture
- Restock linen and amenities in guest bathrooms
- Collect and dispose of garbage from guest rooms and public areas
- Strip and remake beds according to hotel standards
- Clean and check lamps and light fixtures
- Clean and fill ice buckets
- Check and replace hotel collateral and stationery as needed
- Provide exceptional guest service and respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Inform the supervisor of any defects or maintenance work required in guest rooms
- Inform the supervisor of guest comments or complaints
- Maintain a clean and tidy trolley and cubby hole at all times
- Ensure that all garbage is removed from the trolley, corridor, and cubby hole before going off duty
- Ensure that all linen caddies are placed in their original position on the corridors before going off duty
- Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests and staff at all times
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience as a housekeeping attendant
- Writing, reading, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
