Cloud Security Leadership Opportunity
At Datadog, we're seeking a Staff Engineer to drive the next level of Cloud Security Management (CSM). As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate on projects both within and outside CSM, making technical decisions and driving new initiatives in our security products portfolio.
About the Role:
- Design and lead high-priority projects to enhance product value and security.
- Provide technical guidance across multiple areas of the security portfolio.
- Lead architectural platform decisions and guide other engineers.
- Identify potential system risks and develop solutions.
- Contribute to engineering-led planning and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions for customer needs.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering cloud software solutions.
- Ability to design architectures for complex problems at high scale.
- Strong technical skills and a fast learner.
- Confident in presenting ideas and opinions, with a willingness to receive feedback.
- Mentorship and coaching skills to develop other engineers.
- Product-oriented mindset with a focus on customer experience.
- Interest or experience in security products.
