Position: Assistant Store Manager at ARC'TERYX
Join the dynamic team at Arc'teryx as an Assistant Store Manager. This role is pivotal in enhancing the customer experience within our Chamonix location, a vibrant hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager, you will guide a dedicated team of 8 individuals, striving to foster connections and meet ambitious targets both in-store and within the local community.
- Inspire and lead the team in accordance with Arc'teryx's core vision, objectives, and values, while effectively utilizing key business drivers: Experience, Product, Community, Employee.
- Partner with the Store Manager to conduct quarterly assessments of team performance, ensuring alignment with Arc'teryx's strategic direction.
- Identify and nurture retail talent, providing career advancement opportunities for team members.
- Support the Store Manager in executing all operational aspects of the store, including weekly meetings, performance analysis, inventory management, product evaluations, and visual merchandising.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and Community Marketing Manager to plan and execute in-store events that resonate with the company's mission.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in team leadership and retail management.
- A strong passion for outdoor activities and the outdoors.
- Proven leadership abilities, with skills in recruiting, training, motivating, and developing future retail leaders.
- Customer-focused with exceptional communication skills.
- Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 15 kgs.
