CMA CGM, a global leader in shipping and logistics, seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Director to lead its Cyber Defense Center. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering company that has set a target to become Net Zero Carbon by 2050.

The Cybersecurity Director will be responsible for overseeing key cybersecurity functions, including Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Incident Response. The role ensures the organization can detect, assess, and respond to cyber threats, minimizing risks, improving security posture, and increasing overall business operational resilience.

The successful candidate will report to the Group CISO and lead the Cyber Defense Center Service Line with high integrity and quality of service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the focal point of contact for senior leadership concerning cybersecurity incidents;
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management for SOC personnel, fostering professional growth and skills development;
  • Oversighting Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities through proactive approaches to gather, vet, analyze, disseminate, and act on threat intelligence to anticipate and detect potential threats;
  • Managing and optimizing the budget for the Cyber Defense Center;
  • Fostering a continuous development culture and strategy for CDC personnel, sponsoring capacity building, knowledge transfer, and training activities;

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. Proven track records in managing security operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, responding to cyber incidents, and overseeing cross-functional security teams are essential.

A deep understanding of information security frameworks and standards, such as SOC CMM, ISO 27000, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and others, is required. Experience in managing cyber defense strategies and coordinating efforts across the organization is also necessary.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
