Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support EUC professional to join our team at Iron Systems. As a Desktop Support EUC, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our desktop devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Responsibilities:- Manage desktop devices incidents through to resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Provide expert-level support for IMAC and desk-side services, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support and maintain the configuration and installation of desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and spares provided by vendors.
- Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
- Ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image, meeting company standards and security requirements.
- Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices, taking appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
- Provide VIP support for desk-side issues, serving as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues at the site.
- Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 OS, with a strong understanding of its features and limitations.
- Good to have: knowledge of Active Directory and smart hands and feet support.
- Good to have: knowledge and experience of supporting MAC devices and tablets.
- Experience with service management tools, such as ServiceNow.
- Strong expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
- Preferable to have a good understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
- Awareness of ITIL processes, including incident, change, problem, and service request management.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
