Care and Support Assistant

ADMR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Assistant to join our team. As a Social Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, ensuring the individual's physical and emotional needs are met.
- Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Social Support: Accompany individuals on outings, engage in activities, and provide emotional support to promote social interaction and well-being.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and record changes in the individual's condition, reporting any concerns to the care team.
- Qualifications: Hold a Diploma in Social Care or equivalent, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
- Experience: Previous experience in social care, preferably in a home care setting, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, move, and transfer individuals, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
