Job Description

As a Backend Engineer at Believe, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient backend architectures for our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend architectures that meet the needs of our products.
  • Contribute to the development of backend services using PHP Symfony, MariaDB, and Gitlab.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify and address technical requirements.
  • Write unit tests and integration tests for the code you produce.
  • Maintain production activity and improve performance according to SLA.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in PHP Symfony, MariaDB, API REST, Docker, and Git.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and GitLab CI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
