Specialized Field Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialized Field Technician to join our team at Approach People Recruitment. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the construction equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, modifications, and equipment preparation at customer sites
- Conduct equipment setups, training on operation and maintenance for end users on new/used engines
- Deliver demonstrations to customers
- Provide advice and expertise on application and machine usage at construction sites
- Write service orders, reports, and provide detailed feedback to management
- Support customers with proper equipment usage and manage warranties
- Provide technical assistance over the phone on specific topics
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a technical background in electrotechnology or mechanics, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You should be extremely knowledgeable in diesel engines and have a real passion for the field. You will also need to have strong diagnostic skills and be able to work independently.
