About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual and Automated Testing: You will be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms, including web and mobile.
- Test Planning and Execution: You will own the planning, development, and execution of test plans and test cases.
- Review and Analysis: You will review user interfaces for conformity and functionality, and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement.
- Testing Strategies and Techniques: You will help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques to ensure the quality of our software products.
- Bug Tracking and Resolution: You will find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Communication and Collaboration: You will work with Software Development Engineers (SDE) to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented, and communicate testing results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements
- 6+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL is a plus
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
