Job Title: Quality Control Analyst I

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Analyst to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Quality Control Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical, physical, and organoleptic analysis of raw products based on written procedures.
  • Verify the accuracy of equipment and perform minor maintenance as assigned.
  • Ensure all retained samples are properly identified and stored.
  • Utilize computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel for data input and retrieval.
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping according to Good Lab Practices.
  • Apply EHS and Food Safety Practices while performing job functions.
  • Perform other functions related to Quality Control and the advancement of IFF within the Quality organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science Related Field (chemistry, biology, food science, etc.) or High School Diploma and 1-2 years experience in Food Manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of basic math, science, and quality terminology with ability to perform measurement conversions.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and knowledge of database tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Ability to identify and initiate resolution of inspection errors.
