Job Title: Reporting Standards Specialist

The Reporting Center of Excellence is a key internal advisory team at SCOR, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports. As a Reporting Standards Specialist, you will play a crucial role in producing and reviewing financial publications, including annual and interim reports, to ensure statutory compliance and adherence to IFRS and local accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and own content related to accounting standards in financial reports
  • Review external disclosures to ensure statutory compliance
  • Prepare Group Executive Committee and Group Audit Committee presentations on complex accounting transactions and external reporting
  • Lead the development and alignment of sustainability reporting into audit-ready processes
  • Monitor IFRS and local accounting standards developments and coordinate lobbying activities
  • Prepare and conduct IFRS trainings for the finance community
  • Develop and document SCOR's accounting interpretations and positions
Requirements:
  • Industry knowledge of (re)insurance business and actuarial or accounting profile
  • Experience in auditing and analyzing consolidated financial statements
  • Experience with accounting or regulatory standards and projects
  • 7-12 years of working in a Big 4 and/or similar experience in industry
