Financial Controller Job Description
The AXA Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join its team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for analyzing and commenting on the financial performance of the entity, identifying and analyzing risks and uncertainties that may impact Group financial statements, and providing economic business views to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and control all IFRS data submitted by the entity, ensuring compliance with Group instructions and methodologies.
- Analyze and comment on the financial performance of the entity on a regular basis, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
- Solve IFRS reporting and accounting issues as needed, and assist the Group Audit process with internal and external auditors.
- Support the Deputy Manager on ad-hoc basis, providing analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Finance, Audit, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
- 1-3 years' work experience as an actuary, financial analyst, controller, or auditor, including internship experience.
- Strong business analysis and synthesis skills, with a good understanding of finance concepts and how to capture underlying drivers.
- Fluent in English, with good inter-cultural skills and ability to work in an international environment.
