Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer Apprentice to contribute to our digital projects and participate in the technical development of web platforms, APIs, and servers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Updating and optimizing our WordPress-based website
  • Developing new features, pages, and web projects using WordPress, WP Elementor, PHP, mySQL, and other relevant technologies
  • Testing, integrating, and deploying WordPress solutions
  • Managing anomalies, diagnosing WordPress-related issues, and providing fixes
  • Updating and modifying databases (PHP Admin and MySQL) for WordPress-based systems with OVH hosting service
  • Establishing and maintaining our infrastructure (Google Cloud): cybersecurity, GDPR compliance, scaling, and optimization for WordPress applications
  • Creating documentation to track and easily update the work done on WordPress projects
  • Participating in projects related to the digital ecosystem
  • IT equipment management and intranet support
Expected Skills and Knowledge

As a Full-Stack Web Developer Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop a good theoretical and practical knowledge about the challenges associated with building and maintaining a WP-based website. You will learn how to design, develop, and optimize a website in UI, UX, and SEO. You will also improve your organizational and technical skills, and gain experience in SEO and SEA in relation to web design.

Requirements
  • Bac+2 in IT Services
  • Completed first year of apprenticeship in a similar position
  • Solid experience with WordPress development, design, user experience (UX), and database management
  • Ability to create optimized, efficient code (HTML, CSS, JS) and script, prioritizing maintainable code for WordPress
  • Proven track record of being a proactive problem solver, capable of finding effective solutions
  • Design skills using software such as Indesign, Photoshop (a plus)
  • Fluent English speaker and good writing skills mandatory
  • Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
