About Your Future Team in Infrastructure & Onsite Services
The Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS) team is responsible for managing all infrastructure services across AB Volvo. Our focus is on Service Management, new service development, architecture, innovation, and managing our partnerships with IT service providers.
Core Infrastructure Services Overview
The Core Infrastructure Services team, part of the Business Infrastructure Services department, is responsible for managing Network and Network Security Services. This includes traditional on-premise environments as well as cloud-based solutions across multiple sites and cloud platforms.
We Are Seeking a New Infrastructure Services Manager In this role, you will oversee the management of core suppliers throughout the entire service lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with our IT infrastructure partners to ensure that service levels are met and maintained.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring service levels, managing corrective actions with suppliers, and ensuring commercial accountability for the services provided.
You will also be tasked with optimizing and enhancing these services over time.
• Govern service agreements and drive contract enhancements
• Negotiate with suppliers to clarify and optimize service delivery
• Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement and communication strategies
• Influence and guide supplier teams to ensure effective service delivery
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners for escalations and complex issues
• Manage the lifecycle of IT services
• Advise on policies, strategic directions, and service roadmaps
• Monitor service quality and implement corrective measures as needed
• Ensure commercial accountability for supplier services
• Validate service quality against expectations and manage supplier relationships accordingly.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication in an international setting
• Strong negotiation and decision-making facilitation skills
• Ability to manage and influence stakeholders effectively
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Comfort in a multicultural work environment
• Capability to articulate business use cases and value propositions
• Strong focus on quality and a commitment to achieving set objectives
• Experience in overseeing IT infrastructure activities in a global context
• Familiarity with ITIL and SIAM service frameworks
• Proven ability to execute plans effectively
• Experience in preparing and presenting proposals to senior management.
