Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Foreman to join our team at SPIE Oil & Gas Services in Ras Laffan. As a Marine Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising, planning, and scheduling inspection and maintenance activities of marine mechanical equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure compliance with international standards and company policies.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of marine mechanical equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
- Diploma in engineering in Mechanical or Marine or equivalent recognized institution.
- At least 7 years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry or marine industry or in a similar system/facility.
- Good spoken, written, and reading skills in English.
- Experience in SAP system for job planning, work order management, and report preparation.
- Knowledge of international standards for pumps, compressors, blowers, generators, diesel engines, pipes, and fittings.
