Emagine Consulting is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, developers, architects, and managers to ensure timely deliverables and high-quality results.
- Implement DevOps practices and principles, focusing on Infrastructure as a Code, Automation, and Scalability.
- Install, configure, and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka and other data solutions.
- Orchestrate systems with a high focus on resilience and high availability.
- Evaluate and implement data technologies, tools, and utilities.
- Analyze resource usage, growth patterns, and capacity planning for infrastructure.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support for changes, requests, and incidents in production environments.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Kafka administration.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of SQL language and performance tuning.
- Experience with a broad landscape of data engines with resilience and high availability.
- Able to work with autonomy, proactivity, leadership, ownership, coordination, and continuous improvement.
- Good presentation with excellent communication skills (written, listening, and speaking), culture-centered attitude, teamwork, and high motivation.
- English (fluent mandatory) / French (comprehension appreciated).
