Galley Installation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Galley Installation Supervisor to join our client, a leading provider of Turnkey Solutions for the Shipbuilding Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire galley installation process for newbuilding projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and drawings.
  • Plan and manage the workload and progress of installation subcontractors, monitoring and enforcing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards.
  • Record all non-conformances and implement corrective actions promptly, ensuring all work adheres to marine rules and regulations, with a strong focus on USPHS standards.
  • Regularly report progress internally and externally, utilizing the shared equipment list, and document the commissioning status, ensuring all necessary updates are communicated effectively.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials onboard, maintaining clear and consistent communication to ensure materials are available as needed.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of galley installation processes and standards.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with shipbuilding standards and marine regulations, particularly USPHS standards.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the shipbuilding or marine industry is highly desirable.
