ExxonMobil is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Advisor to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. As a Data Privacy Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection regulations in Italy and France.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing data privacy services to ExxonMobil's affiliates in Italy and France. This will involve ensuring that the company's data processing activities comply with local data protection laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor developments of local data protection laws and regulations, and ensure that ExxonMobil's data processing activities comply with these requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to ExxonMobil's affiliates in Italy and France on data protection matters.
- Coordinate with ExxonMobil's global data privacy team to ensure consistency in data protection practices across the company.
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures for ExxonMobil's affiliates in Italy and France.
- Conduct data protection audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and awareness programs to ExxonMobil's employees on data protection best practices.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced data privacy professional with a strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations in Italy and France. The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluent English, strong Italian and/or French language skills.
- Relevant legal and/or privacy qualification or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in data protection and compliance.
- Familiarity with conducting/reviewing privacy risk assessments.
- Solid understanding of IT in a major company covering Apps, Databases, Networks, Servers, Cloud etc.
