Position Overview
This role is integral to the Fullstride Cloud and Infrastructure division for Europe. You will join a diverse team of specialists who merge innovative thinking with advanced technologies to drive progress. Fullstride Cloud Solutions is transforming the competitive environment by integrating digital methodologies with industry expertise to deliver superior business outcomes for our clients through collaboration with internal vertical domain teams and leading technology alliances and startup ecosystems.
The Architect will play a pivotal role in devising solutions that distinguish Wipro in the marketplace, facilitate significant deal closures, foster relationship-building, and enhance Wipro's standing with analysts and advisory entities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will leverage your expertise to develop specific and comprehensive solutions that encompass processes, technologies, project plans, and staffing strategies. You will spearhead the design of highly complex and revenue-generating custom service solutions by:
- Converting client IT requirements into precise systems, applications, and/or process designs for tailored technical solutions and proposals.
- Balancing the demands of sales and service delivery to create solutions that meet or surpass service delivery expectations.
Your tasks will include:
- Collaborating within a physical/virtual team to formulate winning solution strategies and customized value propositions for clients.
- Aligning technology selections and their integrations with the relevant technical domains and practices.
- Drafting relevant Technical Solution Documents, orchestrating the creation and negotiation of Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements pertinent to the proposal and contracting phases of opportunities.
- Conducting delivery and risk assessments, along with corresponding remediation strategies related to custom solution proposals. Leading approval and review discussions to ensure all associated workflows, documentation, and deliverables are achieved.
- Managing solution cost calculations for all services in scope, including resource allocation, products, and third-party expenses, adhering to organizational standard operating procedures for cost modeling.
- Contributing to the development of optimized commercial models that align with custom solution proposals.
- Extending responsibilities beyond sales into the transition and transformation phases through architecture review boards and innovation councils.
The Senior Solutions Architect will act as a general service subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders and will engage with a high level of Wipro and client leadership to represent the complete deal solution in presentations and discussions.
Qualifications / Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in pre-sales, design, and solutions roles within a global organization is essential.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in conversational German, both written and spoken.
- Strong customer engagement skills.
- A commitment to meeting customer timelines and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Ability to execute tasks independently without support.
- Self-motivated with robust people coordination and management abilities.
- Adaptability to various situations in a bid process focused on customer success.
- Familiarity with public and private cloud solutions and technologies.
- Knowledge of Workplace solutions such as O365, Service Desk, and Service Management.
- Understanding of next-generation solutions leveraging technologies like Digital, Automation, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Awareness of network and software-defined networking concepts.
- Comprehension of security considerations surrounding infrastructure solutions.
