Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic Product team at SBS Digital Lending. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing product design strategies that align with our Business Unit's vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the design team, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members.
  • Develop and implement product design strategies that align with the Business Unit's vision and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and CTO to define roadmap planning, plan associated design goals, and build an execution plan with designers.
  • Ensure that all designers are delivering designs aligned with the roadmap planning.
  • Be the voice of design at SBS Digital Lending, advocating for best practices, user needs, and innovative solutions.
  • Take ownership of the design process, from research and concept development to execution and delivery.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Work closely with the Product team, including Product Managers, developers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with product goals.
  • Maintain and update our design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
  • Participate in Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with experience as a lead or mentor.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and a user-centered approach to design.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
