Position: Internal Control and Risk Management Intern
Overview
RATP Dev has established a comprehensive approach to risk management across its subsidiaries, with a particular emphasis on business risks such as railway and road safety. The objective is to further develop and refine this framework, which encompasses three key components:
- Identifying risks through effective risk management;
- Enhancing internal processes and controls;
- Conducting internal audits and providing support to subsidiaries on specific risk matters.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Risk Management Audit & Internal Control, the intern will primarily engage in activities related to internal control, including:
- Collaborating with operational risk owners to design group internal control standards;
- Assisting subsidiary managers in the local implementation of these standards and ensuring that effective controls are established;
- Overseeing the internal control self-assessment program within each subsidiary;
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the internal control framework, which includes tracking action plans and performing tests;
- Preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
Depending on the intern's interests and the frequency of internal control tasks, there may also be opportunities to engage in risk management issues and update action plans related to identified risks.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration (Finance or Audit), Engineering with a finance focus, or a related field;
- Familiarity with accounting standards;
- Understanding of compliance regulations (e.g., Sapin II, GDPR);
- Knowledge of internal control methodologies and risk assessment;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and instructional abilities;
- Attention to detail and dependability;
- Ability to quickly adapt to various situations and stakeholders, both domestically and internationally;
- Intermediate to fluent proficiency in English.
