Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

Join Schneider Electric as a Lead Data Engineer and play a key role in accelerating the company's Big Data and Analytics environment. As a member of the Schneider Digital team, you will contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions that drive strategic decisions across corporate functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver Analytics solutions integrated with the corporate Data Platform.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business problems and provide best-in-class analytics solutions.
  • Interact with Global Data Platform leaders to understand data flows and integrate analytics with these corporate platforms.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security are integrated into analytics solutions.
  • Work with UX/UI global functions to design best-in-class visualization for customers.
  • Develop highly interactive, presentable, and rich in visualization dashboards with creative ways of showcasing KPIs.
  • Demonstrate strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
  • Proficient in SQL and query performance tuning skills.
  • Experience in data mining and reporting systems, with the ability to develop solutions using Tableau to meet enterprise-level requirements.
  • Good knowledge of building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL, Tableau, SQL, and Advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of leading large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects using AWS technologies - Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2, and other big data technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech/Masters in Computer Science, Electronics, or relevant technical certification.
  • 7 years of experience in Analytics Development with data modeling experience on Tableau, ClickSense, Thotspot, and other analytics products and integration with Data platforms.
  • Finance, Opportunity, Sales, and Marketing domain knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Certified on Tableau.

  • Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to clearly communicate complex business problems and technical solutions.

  • Ability to delegate where appropriate.
  • Strong team player/leader.
