Position Overview
The legal division comprises a Service Manager, a Legal Officer, and a multi-skilled attorney who also acts as a hearing officer.
This division is tasked with overseeing legal compliance, regulatory functions, pre-litigation and litigation processes, as well as supporting the negotiation and oversight of agreements and partnerships, including GDPR-related activities.
Given the department's size and the variety of tasks at CAVIMAC, which encompass affiliation, recovery, health insurance, and pension insurance, the attorney, under the direction of the Legal Department Manager, will be accountable for:
- Engaging in the preparation and presentation of cases to the amicable settlement commission,
- Drafting legal conclusions and representing the fund and its stakeholders in various courts (judicial court, court of appeal, criminal court...),
- Providing assistance and legal advice to the organization,
- Conducting comprehensive legal research,
- Contributing to ongoing legal oversight,
- Drafting notes and guidelines related to monitoring activities,
- Participating in any legal endeavors related to business services (overpayment, enforcement, individual case assessments...).
This role demands adaptability and independence, with the capability to manage and successfully execute projects undertaken by CAVIMAC.
As CAVIMAC operates on a national scale, the attorney will be expected to travel across the metropolitan area to advocate for the interests of CAVIMAC, involving 2 to 3 trips monthly.

Essential Skills
Comprehension of the relevant legal frameworks and case law necessary for fulfilling responsibilities,
Familiarity with the judicial system and procedures for both contentious and amicable recovery,
Understanding the operational dynamics (roles, areas of expertise, activities) of the institution,
Proficiency in analytical methods and legal drafting techniques.

- Skill in persuading an audience,
- Capability to negotiate and reconcile differing views within their area of responsibility,

- Commitment to regularly updating legal knowledge across all social security domains,

Educational Background
Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Social Security Law
Preferred: Significant experience (3 to 5 years) in a comparable role
Level: 5B or 6 based on qualifications
