Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team at SIX Payment Services. As a key member of our In Person Payment – Gateway team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our brand new Android payment device.
About the Role
- Develop and maintain the Android payment device, working closely with our French and Indian development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
- Write high-quality code, unit tests, and documentation to ensure the stability and security of our payment solutions.
- Participate in daily meetings to share progress and blocking points with your peers.
- Work closely with our QA teams to ensure that our software meets the required standards.
- Prepare and organize demos for stakeholders, including Product Owners and Technical Leaders.
- Contribute to the success of our releases and propose technical enhancements to the team and Product Owners.
- Ensure that our continuous integration is up and running, and that you respect the Definition of Done defined by the team.
- Participate in Agile processes and contribute to the success of our team.
Requirements
- Master 2 in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development with expertise in Kotlin on Android.
- At least 3 years of experience in payment device development.
- Knowledge of Android development environment, including Android Studio.
- Knowledge of Gradle on Android.
- Excellent knowledge of source control tools, such as Gitlab.
- Knowledge of Agile processes, such as SCRUM.
- Excellent technical English, both spoken and written.

- Ability to work fast and with quality in an international environment.
- Ability to share knowledge with others.
- Able to understand the needs of SIX Payment Services and translate them into technical specifications.
- Be flexible and adaptable to the challenges of the delivery.
- Willingness to increase experience in Payment and/or Android.
- Autonomous and able to self-organize in day-to-day work.
- Strong team spirit and excellent relationships.
