Senior Hydropower Operations Manager

A qualified engineer or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years of primarily operational experience in the hydropower industry, including substantial experience in a leadership role such as operations manager or director.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence a diverse range of stakeholders in a dynamic environment with an expanding asset portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
During the project development stages, collaborate closely with essential contacts to:
- Define, develop, or revise operational and maintenance (O&M) concepts generated internally or proposed by external consultancies or joint ventures.
- Support and provide feedback on local content studies and strategies in coordination with relevant local authorities.
- Work closely with commercial developers to evaluate and critique partner plans and associated costs.
- Lead or provide insights on technical outcomes from pre-FEED or FEED studies.
- Oversee and/or review maintainability studies and plans proposed by engineering firms, OneTech entities, or local administrations.
- Conduct missions or audits as requested.
- Prepare essential deliverables and O&M choices within the Projects team.
- Execute project O&M audits upon request.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the future operational strategy of TTE by sharing expertise and collaborating with other TTE business units.
Context & Environment
As part of the ONE TECH Business Line, a cornerstone of the Company's transformation, you will be integrated into the unit responsible for defining and optimizing the operation and maintenance of new hydroelectric projects. The role encompasses the entire development cycle, from preliminary studies through to operational phases: project development and ongoing operations. You will establish and ensure O&M strategies for projects and assets to maintain the competitiveness of TotalEnergies' portfolio, oversee and validate O&M-related studies and key decisions proposed by project teams or contractors. This position aims to enhance and strengthen expertise and skills in the domain of hydropower plant operations, contributing to the expansion of the company's rapidly growing portfolio of multi-energy assets.
