The Role
- Support Government Affairs efforts for Abbott, reporting to the GA Country Director
- Collaborate with GA initiatives to protect and advance Abbott's interests and business units before legislative bodies, government agencies, policy makers, politicians, trade/business associations, and other allies and influencers
- Deliver weekly reports and GA activities for the Board of Directors of Abbott in France
- Lead key projects assigned by the GA Country Director in relation to the ecosystem of associations and stakeholders in the field of e-health and/or patient groups
The Profile
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in process in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Health, or related science disciplines
- At least one experience in government affairs, public affairs, and public policy for private or public sector
- Strong analytical skills to dissect complex public issues
Teamwork
- Communicate at Abbott France level and other EU countries where Abbott has activities
- Collaborate with internal partners (businesses and functions)
- Matrix leadership and supportive to GA Director
- Fluent in French and English
- Basic computer skills and/or video skills
