Fortinet, a leading provider of network security solutions, is seeking a skilled Network Security Validation Engineer to join our EMEA Customer Readiness Testing team in Sophia Antipolis Technical Assistance Centre.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to perform tests designed to replicate the customer environment in which our products are used. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network security, preferably in a technical support or QA role, and be able to gather and analyze customer information, set up complex testing platforms, define and execute test cases, and report test results.
Key Responsibilities- Provisioning and commissioning the System Under Test to reproduce the customer environment on CRT Data Center equipment
- Preparing test scenarios according to testable requirements
- Executing test cases previously specified and gathering results
- Documenting all test results in a test report to deliver and present to customers at the end of CRT campaigns
- Developing core competency on Fortinet's product line and technologies
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Strong understanding of data networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP, routing, and switching
- Administrator-level working knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Unix
- General knowledge of software testing
- Four years or more experience in network security (technical support or QA)
- Graduate of network and security engineering school
- Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken), other languages an advantage
