About the Position

The Institut Curie is a leading research and cancer treatment center seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team working on the development of innovative radiotherapy strategies.

Research Focus

Our team is focused on understanding the mechanisms of radiotherapy-induced toxicities and exploring the potential of FLASH radiotherapy to reduce these toxicities while preserving anti-tumor efficacy. We are seeking a researcher with expertise in developing and using innovative cellular models, such as organoids and tumouroids, to investigate the effects of different radiotherapy approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and use innovative cellular models to study the effects of radiotherapy
  • Perform single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial analysis of gene expression
  • Analyze data from sequencing and imaging experiments

Requirements

  • PhD in biology or a related field
  • Experience in developing and using cellular models, such as organoids and tumouroids
  • Expertise in microscopy and image analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python and R
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
