DLL is in search of a seasoned Financial Business Analyst who will take charge of executing and advising on financial and operational planning and oversight. This role is crucial in supporting the organization as a subject matter expert, enabling management to steer the company effectively and efficiently while continuously enhancing performance.
The Financial Business Analyst will be an integral part of the business controlling team, responsible for the preparation of various reports and analytical assessments.
This position is ideally suited for an experienced professional with several years in a finance role, seeking to advance their career within a globally oriented and successful enterprise.
The Financial Business Analyst will report directly to the Country Finance Manager.
Strategic Financial Planning:
Contribute to the formulation of the business strategy and/or planning at the country level from a financial viewpoint, ensuring local alignment and advising management on pertinent issues and opportunities;
Operational Control:
Develop and uphold the operational controls in accordance with DLL's In Control Framework, proactively monitoring, analyzing, and challenging business performance on a regular (monthly) basis;
Financial Consultation:
Provide guidance, oversight, and support to the business as a finance expert on key performance indicators and metrics, educate stakeholders on risk-based pricing, and collaborate with Sales managers on the implementation and management of pricing policies;
Reporting:
Ensure the development, preparation, and accurate execution of consolidated periodic and ad hoc reports for business management and external regulatory authorities.
Qualifications include a Master's degree in finance, accounting, or controlling, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance organization in a business or financial control capacity. Candidates should possess knowledge of accounting principles, local statutory requirements, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Advanced MS-Excel skills and the ability to conduct and execute analyses are essential. Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify, frame, and resolve business challenges are required. Proficiency in French, along with a good command of English (both spoken and written), is also necessary.
