As part of the design evaluation sector within our Technical Department, you will collaborate with a team of engineers focused on the structural integrity of floating offshore structures.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the technical adherence of your projects through verification calculations utilizing our proprietary technical software (VeriSTAR-Hull, MARS2000, STEEL, NSO, etc.) alongside external applications (Femap).
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Assessing the structural design compliance of diverse offshore units, topsides, or related equipment, in line with relevant regulations across various scenarios: new builds, modifications, validation of innovative technologies, etc.
- Offering technical assistance to teams overseeing operational units dealing with damages sustained by Bureau Veritas classified units.
- Supporting the functionality of our global network of plan approval offices through guidance and training.
- Engaging in the formulation and validation of our regulations and tools.
