Auburn-Washburn Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and organized Food Service Substitute to join our team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and efficient individual to assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and maintain a clean and safe working area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to students in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with the food service team to ensure smooth meal service
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
