Student Recruitment Counsellor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Recruitment Counsellor to join our team at The American University of Paris. As a key member of our Admissions Office, you will play a crucial role in the recruitment and admission of graduate students, with a specific focus on our graduate programs.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement marketing, communications, and recruitment strategies to support the achievement of our enrolment targets at the graduate level.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop a graduate recruitment plan, including the development of relationships in specified country markets.
- Lead on the recruitment of graduate students to AUP, generating qualified graduate enquiries and applicants according to agreed targets.
- Provide a link between students applying for graduate programs at AUP and each of the individual Graduate Program Directors.
- Represent AUP at a range of events, including visits, education fairs, and exhibitions, and develop relationships with relevant individuals and institutions.
- Support current AUP students wishing to remain at the University via the BA/MA pathway.
- Manage all pre-application enquiries and post-offer contacts and yield activities.
- Develop market intelligence and market awareness, maintaining a keen awareness of developments and trends in all country markets.
- Create an effective network across the AUP campus to better support the recruitment of students.
- Undergraduate degree and higher degree or professionally relevant qualification.
- Ability to speak English and French.
- Experience in international marketing and student recruitment, with a track record of recruiting international students.
- Ability to manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, and understand broad marketing and communications issues.
- Entrepreneurial and innovative with a delivery focus, and willingness to travel overseas and work outside normal/unsocial hours.
- Ability to understand a wide range of academic content and subject material, and work under pressure.
- Commercially focused, capable of delivering results in a cost-effective manner, and an understanding of how to apply technology in an appropriate way to meet business requirements.
- Interpersonal skills, including good communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
