Veepee is seeking a highly skilled Network Reliability Engineer to join our WAN team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement network architecture and infrastructure to support business growth and scalability.
- Deploy regular changes and upgrades to the network infrastructure without impacting business operations.
- Automate recurring network tasks to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to debug and resolve issues.
- Participate in the evolution of our network infrastructure, including structuring technical choices and planned operations.
- At least 4 years of experience as a network engineer.
- Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Strong knowledge of datacenter fabric technologies, including Cisco and Juniper.
- Good knowledge of automation tools, such as Netbox, Ansible, and Git CI/CD.
- Scripting skills with at least one of UNIX Shells and Python.
- Good general knowledge of network security, including firewalling and application protection.
- Good knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Good knowledge of Linux systems.
- Good knowledge of deployment tools, such as Docker and Terraform.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Project management skills.
- Documentation management skills.
- You are enthusiastic, motivated, and naturally curious, with a desire to learn and improve Veepee's system infrastructure.
- You have a sharp analytical mind and can reproduce information in a synthetic way.
- You understand that boring and time-consuming tasks can be industrialized.
- You have a clear view of what needs to be done and can prioritize tasks.
- You're not afraid to handle machines.
- You know how to question yourself.
- You are totally comfortable working in English.
