**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Destinus SA. As a key member of our R&D engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our near-space vehicle and associated infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead design projects for aerospace components and systems from conceptual phase through manufacturing to integration and testing
- Generate 3D CAD models, drawings, schematics, bills of material, and other related documentation required for manufacturing, integration, and testing
- Deliver technical documentation, including engineering calculations, analysis, and assumptions required to substantiate design decisions and solutions
- Prepare and participate in design reviews
**Requirements**
- 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the aerospace industry
- Part design, DWGs, DMU management
- Seal and fastener design knowledge
- Fluent in English as a working language. French language is beneficial
- Experience with metallic and composite structure design would be beneficial
- Good to have experience with hydraulics, fuel systems, and component design
