We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Institut Curie, a leading research center in the fight against cancer. Our team focuses on the study of non-coding RNAs and their role in cancer biology.
Research FocusOur research interests lie in the analysis of transcriptomics datasets to identify novel lncRNA species and their functions in eukaryotic systems. We develop original high-throughput sequencing and computational approaches to study the fate and function of lncRNAs in cancer. Our goal is to identify a complete dataset of circulating cell-free lncRNAs and circRNAs involved in TNBC chemoresistance and immune response escape.
RequirementsWe are looking for a postdoc candidate with a PhD in biology, cellular biology, or related areas. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the analysis of transcriptomics datasets and proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (R, Python, etc.). Experience with Linux and supercomputer infrastructure is also required. Language skills: Fluency in English and communication skills. French is a plus.
What We OfferWe offer a fixed-term contract of 18 months (renewable up to 3 years) with a full-time working schedule. The remuneration is according to the current grids, and benefits include collective catering, reimbursement of transportation fees up to 70%, and supplementary health insurance. The position is located in Paris, 5eme.
