Job Summary
Alstom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our Overhead Contact Systems (OCS) team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing OCS solutions for our projects and tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the OCS Design Leader in performing design activities for projects and tenders, including producing design documents.
- Support the execution of Central Department missions, including development and maintenance of reference solutions and libraries, product development, innovation, and design tool implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project management teams, site teams, and support functions to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, layouts, and calculations for OCS systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Graduated from an engineering school in mechanics or material science.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in OCS engineering.
- Proven experience in OCS technology related to the project/tender.
- Good knowledge of OCS technology and design principles.
- Ability to execute basic and detailed design studies.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software and standard office software.
