Debt Recovery Specialist

About the Role
Reporting to the Client Recovery Manager, you will collaborate with a team of approximately ten individuals. Your primary responsibilities will encompass ensuring effective debt recovery and resolving client disputes.
- Implement and adhere to the group's Credit Management policy.
- Manage amicable collection processes based on Aging Balance, utilizing phone and written reminders.
- Identify, track, and resolve client disputes.
- Conduct monthly Aging Balance reviews with operational teams.
- Occasionally reconcile accounts.
- Recommend debtor clients for legal action when necessary.
- Challenge our external recovery service provider's performance during follow-up procedures.
- Maintain and update the client database.
Profile
Ideally possessing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent qualification, you should have prior experience in debt collection or client accounting.
We seek a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong negotiation skills and a sense of prioritization. Excellent interpersonal skills, a curious mindset, and a collaborative spirit are highly valued.
