Your Mission

The Global Projects Centre (GPC) serves as Subsea 7's hub of excellence for executing our largest projects on a global scale.

As part of the Installation Methods department, you will play a crucial role in the installation of subsea structures, floating wind systems, mooring arrangements, riser systems, flexible flowlines, umbilicals, and cables. Your responsibilities will include preparing the project scope and providing support to the offshore team during operations, ensuring effective communication with clients, suppliers, offshore personnel, and the design team.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading a team of engineers and managing project packages,
  • Overseeing all external interfaces (clients, suppliers) and internal interactions (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, procurement),
  • Preparing documentation and preliminary studies for tenders, FEEDs, and Group projects,
  • Supervising engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products,
  • Planning, preparing, and validating specific procedures (site validation tests, transportation, and installation) along with associated calculation notes (design of lifting slings),
  • Participating in vessel mobilization and installation phases to validate technical solutions while adhering to Group HSEQ standards,
  • Ensuring compliance with Project standards regarding Quality, Cost, and Time,
  • Acting as the technical owner, selecting contractors, and supervising subcontracted studies,
  • Validating concepts and managing changes with HSEQ criteria in mind,
  • Reviewing developments and proposing enhancements in line with Group HSEQ standards,
  • Contributing to the growth and development of our team,
  • Enhancing the expertise of the installation team,
  • Proposing innovative solutions to reduce costs.
  • All personnel are expected to adhere to local HSEQ codes and practices and the Subsea7 Code of Conduct.
Your Profile
  • Engineering Degree with 12-15 years of experience in the Petroleum or Offshore Wind sectors.
  • Desirable experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals, Mooring Installation,
  • Experience in Renewables Floating Wind and other relevant fields is a plus,
  • Experience in Site and Offshore Operations,
  • Strong autonomy, coordination, and communication skills are essential for success in this role,
  • Proven experience in leading teams,
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Working Conditions
  • The majority of work will be conducted from a home office environment.
  • Some international travel may be required.
  • Offshore/Off-site work during project execution phases as necessary.
